A 3 hours guided tour with an expert naturalist will introduce you to the world of birds with detailed explanations of their natural history and ecology. The tour involves some walking along 2 km mountain trail and secondary forest. In the feeder area you will be able to enjoy the different and colorful species that come to feed while you have a tasty breakfast. The birds come close and the set-up is ideal for bird photography

FROM MINCA

At 6am a motorbike or car will pick you up at your hotel to drive you 2km along a paved road to the beggining of the trail where the guide will meet you to start the walk to the Observatorio, where most of the bird activity will take place while you enjoy a delicious breakfast. After enjoying the feeders and around you can take a walk back to town, or a motorbike can be arranged.

FROM SANTA MARTA

At 5AM a car will pick you up at your hotel to take you to Minca and then to the beggining of the trail where the guide will meet you to start the walk to the Observatorio, where most of the bird activity will take place. After breakfast and enjoying the feeder area and around the car will take you back to your hotel in Santa Marta
